Meet the Facilitators
Trudy Schroeder (She/her)
Trudy Schroeder, OM, MBA, BA, ARCT is a community developer who has been privileged to have had many opportunities to work in positions that have afforded her wonderful opportunities to connect and inspire community members through engagement in the arts.
Trudy has served as the executive director of the Winnipeg Folk Festival for ten years and the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra for thirteen years. Trudy has been involved in cultural development and arts organization leadership for more than thirty years. She holds an MBA, a BA, and an ARCT, and shehas been awarded the Order of Manitoba for her contribution to the cultural life of the province, a Leader of the Year award from Travel Manitoba, and a Woman of Distinction award.
Arts & Heritage Solutions has been providing planning and project management support for the cultural sector since 1996. Projects include feasibility studies, cultural policies, cultural policy reviews, development of operating plans, fundraising, organizational assessments, facility plans, and economic development strategies utilizing the arts.
Inga Petri (She/her)
Since 1990, Inga has designed and implemented research and strategies for organizations in the private, not-for-profit and public sectors, employing collaborative approaches that rally participants around common objectives.
With experience in diverse sectors – from the performing arts, festivals, museums and arts services organization to government, international trade promotion organizations, national membership associations and technology companies – clients benefit from an uncommon breadth of experience and expertise.
Inga provides strategic counsel based on solid research and deep insight; she develops brand, web, communications and marketing strategies that effectively reach target audiences; and she delivers tangible results for clients.
The annual Manitoba Showcase is invaluable to rural arts organizations. We have a chance to view a variety of performances from Canada and the U.S. and make an informed decision to bring these performances to our community.

WHAT’S NEW FOR MANITOBA SHOWCASE 2023?
Manitoba Showcase is an annual visual & performing arts conference that features some of the best Canadian artists, from a wide range of genres, for Manitoban presenters and galleries, connecting them with future opportunities and collaboration.
The preeminent event of its kind in Manitoba, Showcase engages over 150 artists, presenters, agents, managers, and industry stakeholders to exchange ideas and develop and rekindle relationships. The conference will feature speakers, performances, panel discussions, real-life testimonials from artists and educators, parallel presentations, regional discussion groups, networking opportunities, Peer-to-peer and one-to-one career advice from specialist advisors, and other showcase artists.

ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT
The Mennonite Heritage Museum is the primary location for the Manitoba Showcase workshops. The workshops take place on the main floor in the Auditorium, or in the Pavilion, which is located in a separate building beside the Auditorium and will also host the 3 meals. The Steinbach Regional Secondary School is the Showcase venue. The Steinbach Arts Council building will host the exhibitions and late-night networking. Both are wheelchair accessible through the buildings’ main entrances.
